I was engaged by Sound Osteopathy to complete a website redesign after the previous developer had to leave the project mid-way. The clinic provided a brief design brief and access to the partially completed site, which was built using WordPress and the Elementor page builder.

Scope of Work

• Taking ownership of an incomplete project and rapidly coming up to speed with the existing codebase
• Completing the website redesign to specification
• Working collaboratively with a client who had limited technical expertise
• Coordinating delivery during a busy period (end-of-year)

Approach

I prioritised clear communication and transparency throughout the engagement. Rather than treating the handover as a limitation, I used it as an opportunity to understand the client’s needs more directly and provide guidance on web development decisions where helpful.
